Hello, Soul Travelers

Hello soul travelers, my dearest reader! I say dramatically as if more than two people will be reading this at the time of writing. Tis I, your next favorite fantasy author, feeling propelled into inspired action thanks to Mars and Mercury in Scorpio at the time of writing this blog. Is there any better time that the knowing of feeling Libra season tick closer to Scorpio season?

Returning to the Page

It's been a while since I have used this space. When I became a full-time caregiver to my elderly father, I knew I would be coming back to this space and that it wouldn't be in the same manner I had been using it. I have shifted out of practicing the spiritual principles and practices with others and have focused on my individual journey for a while. This has led me to where I am today October 8th of 2025 sitting here waiting on what will be my debut fictional novel to be received from developmental editing.

Fell in the Rabbit hole of my North Node

When I took the space to settle in with the moving in of my father, I took the time to look at my natal north node. To me the north node is an indicator to the fate one chooses to experience, live and grow into during an individual lifespan. The south node is the wisdom we've experienced previously that is our toolbox to assist us in walking our north node destiny path.

My north node is in a position of communication and writing the tricky part is bringing the Leo sun into being a writer which means I will be sharing my art to be seen in full light. That's the inconvenient part because I am comfortable writing for myself, or for others like 240-ish years from now. It was that last part that led me to fiction and more specifically metaphysical fantasy, magical realism fantasy, a little blending of the two.

I really wanted to leave for future astrological students a testimony of what it was like to experience the Pluto conjunction with my personal 29-degree Capricorn sun in the 8th house. A written work that would live on in 240-ish years. I also had some personal healing and grieving to do from that transit.

That Is Where You Have Found Me

When I approached my grieving journey, it led me to the muse of my debut novel, my best friend since third grade, Traci, who passed just two months after my mom and nine months after her own mother. It was then that I found my muse and the lure of bringing Traci to life on the pages of an epic fantasy, the kind we both loved to read. We had talked so many times through our thirty-three years of sisterhood of the heart: I would write, and she would edit. I was always writing, and she was always the first person to receive my drafts.

So, you see, dear traveler, while I may have been in the shadows, preparing to re-enter the light and travel the soul highway of wisdom through experiencing life you find me now, clear in intention and with my pathway forward illuminated. I have some amazing stories to share with you. In fact, I’ve already begun working on my second novel, though it belongs to a different series than the exoplanet saga Pluto’s Legacy: Ghosting to Aetheria. So I will bid you good day for now. Let’s get you rested and hydrated so you can continue your adventure. I’ve a few stories to write.
